Dr. Perper has announced today that Anna Nicole Smith’s death was officially caused by an overdose. However, it was not an illegal drug overdose. There were a number of legal painkillers in Anna’s body, including chloral hydate, methadone, and many others. Howard K. Stern will not be charged with anything.

I’m glad that they finally figured out what the problem was, although something still seems fishy about it to me. At least now she can have a proper burial ceremony and everything.
